Hi! I'm Janel and I am a proud mom of 3 and a passionate Early Childhood Educator with over 17 years of heartwarming experience.
I remember reading these words by Nelson Mandela and I immediately felt its powerful message. As an experienced educator and mother, I couldn't agree more with what he said. Yes, it may sound cheesy and overrated, but children ARE the future. The more we invest in the wellbeing of our children, the better our world will really be.
My three incredible daughhters light up my world, inspiring my journey as a mother and educator. For over 17 years, I've been weaving the magic of play into education, fostering an environment where children develop a joy and love for learning.
I believe in honoruing each child as a unique individual, creating an atmosphere that respects their perspectives and curiosities, and encourages their authentic selves. I love witnessing the sparks of curiosity and creativity unfold as I play with children. The genuine awe from these little minds is truly what inspires me.
I embrace the beauty of independent and risky play, knowing it's through calculated risks that children develop resilience and confidence.
What began on Instagram has evolved into a mission - I'm here to grow our community, supporting parents, families, caregivers, and educators as we navigate the adventure of advocating and raising extraordinary humans.
